Easy Glazed Carrots

Heat a pan over medium heat. Melt butter, add carrots, and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Stir in stock and sugar. Cover, reduce heat to low, and cook for 5 minutes or until carrots are nearly tender.

Remove carrots with a slotted spoon and set aside.

Continue simmering the remaining liquid, uncovered, until it reduces to a thick, syrupy consistency.

Return carrots and fresh herbs to the pan; cook until coated. Season with salt and pepper, then serve.
