Easy Garlic Green Beans

Instructions

Start boiling water in a pot for the green beans.

Trim and wash the green beans, cutting longer ones in half if desired.

Boil or steam the beans for 5 to 7 minutes until crisp-tender.

Immediately drain the beans and transfer them to an ice bath for a minute, then drain thoroughly again.

In a sauté pan, melt butter or heat olive oil over medium-low heat, then cook garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the prepared green beans to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and toss until heated through.

Garnish with parsley if using, and serve immediately.
