Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.

  2. In a bowl, beat cake mix, pudding mix, apricot nectar, apricot brandy, and oil until smooth.

  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each, then fold in fruits and nuts.

  4. Pour batter into a generously greased 10-inch tube pan.

  5. Bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until a tester comes out clean.

  6. Cool cake in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

  7. For optimal flavor, wrap and refrigerate for 24 hours prior to serving.

  8. Combine 2 to 3 tablespoons apricot brandy with 1 cup confectioners' sugar for glaze; drizzle over the fruitcake before serving.
