Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F and melt butter in an 8-inch square or 9-inch round baking dish.

  2. Combine sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and milk in a large bowl until well blended.

  3. Remove melted butter dish from oven and pour the batter over it.

  4. Pour pie filling over the batter.

  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
