Easy Fresh Fig Bread

Preheat oven to 350 F (180 C). Grease and flour two 9x5-inch loaf pans.

Beat 3 eggs until frothy, then mix in 2 cups sugar.

Incorporate 2 cups mashed figs and 3/4 cup vegetable oil on low speed.

Sift together 3 cups flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon.

Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with 1/2 cup buttermilk, mixing until just blended.

Fold in 1 cup chopped pecans.
