Easy Flank Steak Marinade

An easy flank steak recipe that uses a simple marinade to create a crowd-pleasing dish.

Instructions

  1. Combine all marinade ingredients (excluding flank steak and salt) in a large zip-top bag; shake to mix.

  2. Add flank steak to the bag, seal, remove air, and refrigerate for 6 hours to overnight.

  3. Preheat your grill.

  4. Remove steak from marinade; pat dry. Boil excess marinade separately if desired for serving.

  5. Season both sides of the steak with salt and pepper.

  6. Oil grill grates, then place steak on the grill.

  7. Grill over high direct heat for 5-6 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to desired doneness.

  8. Transfer to a plate, loosely cover with foil, and rest for 10 minutes.

  9. Slice thinly across the grain and serve.
