Boil water for dissolving the gelatin.

Sprinkle unflavored gelatin over cold water in a small bowl; let it stand for 1 minute. Stir in the boiling water until the gelatin is fully dissolved, then set it aside.

In an electric mixer bowl, combine sugar, cocoa, whipping cream, and vanilla; beat on medium speed until the mixture is stiff.
