Instructions

  1. Boil water for dissolving the gelatin.

  2. Sprinkle unflavored gelatin over cold water in a small bowl; let it stand for 1 minute. Stir in the boiling water until the gelatin is fully dissolved, then set it aside.

  3. In an electric mixer bowl, combine sugar, cocoa, whipping cream, and vanilla; beat on medium speed until the mixture is stiff.

  4. Add the dissolved gelatin mixture to the chocolate mixture and beat until well-blended.

  5. Spoon the chocolate mousse into dessert dishes or glasses.

  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving, and garnish with chocolate curls if desired.
