Easy Crock Pot Cornbread Dressing

A moist cornbread dressing prepared easily in a slow cooker, using condensed soup for a rich texture.

Instructions

  1. Grease the slow cooker.

  2. In a large bowl, combine crumbled cornbread, bread cubes, onion, celery, poultry seasoning, and pepper.

  3. In a separate bowl, beat eggs, then mix with condensed soups.

  4. Stir the egg and soup mixture into the cornbread mixture until well blended.

  5. Spoon the dressing into the slow cooker and dot with butter.

  6. Cook on high for 2 hours, or on low for 3.5 to 4.5 hours.

  7. Fluff and serve the dressing; if stuffing vegetables, precook them, stuff, and warm.
