Easy Chicken and Rice Casserole With Italian Dressing

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 F and butter a 9x13 inch baking pan or 2.5-3 quart casserole dish.

Wash rice and spread it evenly in the prepared dish.

Stir together condensed soup, Italian dressing mix, and broth, then pour the mixture over the rice.

Place chicken pieces skin-side up on the rice mixture, then season with salt and pepper.

Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 1 hour.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes, or until the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender.

Optionally, broil briefly to brown the chicken.
