Easy Cherry Dessert Recipe

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F and prepare a 9-inch square baking pan.

  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs, flour, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and butter in a bowl; mix well.

  3. Press half of the crumb mixture into the prepared pan to form the bottom crust.

  4. Whisk egg, sour cream, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon in a separate bowl.

  5. Pour the sour cream mixture over the bottom crust, then spoon cherry pie filling evenly on top.

  6. Sprinkle the remaining crumbs over the cherry layer.

  7. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.

  8. Serve warm or cooled, and refrigerate any leftovers.
