  2. Combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, dry mustard, cheddar cheese, and sugar in one bowl.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix vegetable oil, egg, milk, and water.

  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture and quickly combine, ensuring not to overmix.

  5. Fill each prepared muffin cup two-thirds full with batter, then sprinkle paprika on top.

  6. Bake for 25 minutes at 400 F, or until done.

  7. Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 10 minutes, then serve with butter.
