Easy Busy Day Chili

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a Dutch oven or large saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Brown ground beef with onions, then add garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

  3. Stir in tomatoes, beans with their liquid, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper; bring to a simmer.

  4. Cover and simmer over low heat for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.

  5. Taste and adjust seasonings as desired.

  6. Serve the chili.
