Easy Breaded Tofu Nuggets
Kid-friendly tofu nuggets provide a delightful, dippable alternative to classic chicken finger food.

Instructions

If baking, preheat oven to 350 F.

Press the tofu block: Remove from package, pat dry, and place between paper towels under a weight for 30 minutes, replacing towels when saturated.

Slice pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes.

In a shallow bowl, whisk soy milk, mustard, nutritional yeast, onion powder, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper.

Place panko breadcrumbs in a separate bowl.

Dip each tofu piece in the liquid mixture, then coat completely in breadcrumbs.

To pan-fry: Heat oil in a frying pan on medium-high. Fry coated tofu, turning often, until golden brown.

To bake: Arrange coated tofu on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes, flipping once, until golden brown.

Serve nuggets with desired dipping sauce.
