Instructions

  1. Place vinegar into a thick-bottomed, nonreactive saucepan.

  2. Gently heat until simmering, then reduce heat to maintain a slow simmer.

  3. Continue simmering until the vinegar reduces to a syrupy glaze, noting it will thicken further upon cooling.

  4. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely.
