Easy Baked Ham With Pineapple

Preheat oven to 325 F.

Slice the ham 1/2-inch thick, cutting almost to the bottom, then tie with kitchen twine to hold slices together.

Drain pineapple, reserving 1/4 cup syrup.

Combine reserved pineapple syrup, chili sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and chili powder in a bowl; set aside.

Place ham on a rack in a roasting pan.

Arrange pineapple slices around the ham, securing with toothpicks.

Pour the reserved sauce over the ham.

Bake for 1.5 hours, basting frequently with sauce.

Transfer ham to a platter, remove twine, and rearrange pineapple; cover loosely with foil to keep warm.

Combine pan juices in a 2-cup measuring cup, adding hot water if needed to make 1 1/4 cups total; transfer to a saucepan.

Mix cornstarch and cold water until smooth.

Add cornstarch mixture to the saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring until thickened and bubbly.

Drizzle some sauce over the ham and pineapple, serving remaining sauce on the side.
