Easy Baked Custard Recipe Reminiscent of Grandma's Kitchen

Preheat oven to 325 F. Place four 6-ounce custard cups in a large baking pan.

Whisk together 2 cups milk, 2 large eggs, 1/8 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 cup granulated sugar in a medium bowl.

Distribute the custard mixture evenly into the prepared cups.

Fill the baking pan with hot water to nearly the top of the custard cups. Sprinkle each with a pinch of nutmeg.

Bake for 40 to 55 minutes until the custard is set and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

Serve warm or chilled, optionally garnished with raspberries and mint.
