Easy Asparagus Stir-Fry

Instructions

  1. Combine chicken broth, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper in a small bowl; separately, dissolve cornstarch in water.

  2. Heat a wok with oil, then add garlic and ginger, stir-frying for 10 seconds until fragrant.

  3. Add asparagus and stir-fry for 1 minute; then add water, cover, and steam for 1 to 2 minutes until absorbed.

  4. Push asparagus to the sides; add mushrooms and bell pepper to the center, stir-fry for 1 minute, sprinkling with rice wine or sherry.

  5. Push mushrooms and bell pepper aside.

  6. Stir the prepared sauce and pour into the wok's center. Stir the cornstarch mixture, add it to the sauce, and stir quickly to thicken.

  7. Combine all vegetables with the thickened sauce and stir in sesame oil.

  8. Serve over cooked rice.
