Easy Apple Cider Syrup Recipe

Instructions

  1. In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, melt butter.

  2. When the butter stops foaming, add apple cider, brown sugar, and cinnamon sticks. Stir while bringing the mixture to a boil.

  3. Continue cooking over medium heat, stirring frequently, until reduced by half (1 to 1 1/4 cups), which takes about 15 minutes.

  4. Serve the cooled syrup over pancakes, waffles, or bread pudding.
