Easy and Healthy Muesli Flapjack

A healthy, muesli-style flapjack tray-bake combines oats, nuts, and seeds with honey and brown sugar for a nutritious treat.

Instructions

  1. Toast oats, nuts, and seeds in a large deep pan for 5 minutes until golden, stirring constantly; let cool.

  2. In a saucepan, melt honey, dark brown sugar, and butter on medium heat until sugar dissolves, then simmer for 5 minutes on low heat; set aside.

  3. Combine the toasted ingredients with the melted mixture and fruit to form a stiff dough.

  4. Grease an 8x8-inch square tin, line with baking paper, and firmly press the flapjack mixture evenly into it.

  5. Cut out squares or rectangles, then refrigerate for a couple of hours to set.
