Easy 4-Ingredient Pineapple Frosting

A sweet and tangy crushed pineapple frosting, providing enough to generously cover a two-layer cake or a halved portion for a Bundt cake.

Instructions

  1. Strain canned crushed pineapple, reserving the juice, then measure 6 tablespoons of the pineapple into a separate bowl.

  2. Cream butter in a large bowl with an electric mixer until it is smooth and pale.

  3. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.

  4. Stir in the 6 tablespoons of crushed pineapple and add enough reserved juice to create a spreadable consistency, then beat thoroughly to blend.

  5. Apply the frosting over cake layers or cupcakes; for a Bundt cake, optional additional pineapple can be mixed in before spooning it on.
