Dumpling Wrapper Tiramisu Crepe Cake

Instructions

  1. Start boiling 2 cups of water in a shallow pan.

  2. Combine mascarpone, heavy cream, egg yolk, 2 tablespoons sugar, and vanilla extract; whip until thick and soft peaks form.

  3. Once water boils, add instant espresso and remaining sugar; whisk until dissolved.

  4. Add 3-4 dumpling wrappers to the boiling coffee for 1 minute, then remove and drain on parchment paper or a cooling rack. Repeat for all wrappers.

  5. Assemble on a serving plate by layering a wrapper with about 2 teaspoons of cream, repeating until all wrappers and cream are used.

  6. Chill the cake for at least 20 minutes, then sift cocoa powder over the top, slice, and serve.
