Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F (or 325 F for a glass dish) and have a 9x13 inch baking pan ready.

  2. Pour and spread the pineapple evenly in the pan, then top with cherry pie filling.

  3. Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the fruit layers.

  4. Place sliced butter evenly over the cake mix.

  5. Optionally, sprinkle nuts on top.

  6. Bake for about 1 hour until the cake top is brown.
