Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

  2. On a parchment-lined baking sheet, roast sesame seeds for 2-3 minutes until toasted, then cool.

  3. Next, roast chickpeas and hazelnuts on the same sheet for 5 minutes.

  4. Combine the toasted sesame seeds, chickpeas, and hazelnuts with coriander seeds, cumin seeds, salt, and black peppercorns.

  5. Grind this mixture in a food processor or with a mortar and pestle for 2-4 minutes.

  6. Store the finished spice blend in an airtight container.
