Dried Beef and Noodle Casserole
A comforting beef and noodle casserole is prepared with either economical dried beef or readily available cooked leftover beef.

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 F.

Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook mushrooms for 5 minutes until tender.

Stir flour into the mushrooms and butter for 2 minutes, then gradually add milk and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.

Add cheese and stir until melted; then add pimientos, dried beef, and cooked, drained noodles, seasoning with salt and pepper.

Transfer the noodle mixture to a lightly buttered baking pan, sprinkle with breadcrumbs, and bake for 30 minutes.
