Instructions

  1. Combine Dr. Pepper, soy sauce, lime juice, vegetable oil, and hot sauce in a bowl.

  2. Pour the mixture into a zip-top bag with the meat, seal, and refrigerate for 8 to 12 hours.

  3. Remove meat from the bag; transfer marinade to a small saucepan, boil for 5 minutes, then cool.

  4. Preheat grill or oven as needed. Grill or roast the meat to desired doneness, basting with the cooled sauce.
