Instructions

  1. Start boiling salted water in a pot for cooking the spinners.

  2. Combine 1 cup all-purpose flour and 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt in a small bowl, then gradually add 1/4 to 1/2 cup water to form a stiff dough. Rest the dough for 10 minutes.

  3. Pinch off 1/2 ounce portions of dough and roll each into a tapered cylindrical shape until all dough is used.

  4. Cook spinners in the boiling water for 5-7 minutes, or add them to a soup or stew 5 minutes before the dish is complete. Test one to ensure it is fully cooked.

  5. Serve the cooked spinners.
