Denver Omelet Recipe
A classic Denver omelet features a savory filling of diced ham, onions, peppers, and melted cheese, perfect for any meal.

Instructions

Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté diced onion, bell pepper, and ham for 2 minutes until tender-crisp, then season with salt and pepper.

Transfer the sautéed mixture to a plate and wipe the skillet clean.

Reduce heat to medium-low, melt butter in the skillet, and add the eggs.

As the omelet edges set, lift them with a spatula and tilt the pan to allow uncooked egg to flow underneath until mostly set.

Season the omelet with salt and pepper, sprinkle with cheese, and cover for 1 minute until melted, then turn off heat.

Place the cooked ham and vegetables in a line down the center of the omelet and loosen the edges with a spatula.

Fold one side of the omelet over the filling, then fold the opposite side over that to form a parcel.

Carefully slide the omelet onto a plate and serve immediately.
