Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a heavy saucepan.

  2. Whisk in sweetened condensed milk and egg yolk.

  3. Constantly stir the mixture and bring to a boil.

  4. Once boiling, remove the pan from heat.

  5. Stir in coconut and pecans.

  6. Cool to room temperature before spreading on cake.
