Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients into the bread pan, using the minimum specified liquid, without stirring or mixing.

  2. Close the bread machine, select the Medium Crust setting and Whole Wheat Cycle, then press Start.

  3. During the first 5-10 minutes of kneading, observe the dough; if dry or straining, gradually add liquid one tablespoon at a time until it is smooth and slightly tacky.

  4. Allow the bread machine to complete its full cycle of kneading, rising, and baking.

  5. After baking, cool the bread on a wire rack for one hour before slicing and serving.
