Lightly oil 2 (2-cup) heatproof dishes or 6 (6-ounce) ramekins.

Combine bread, apples, walnuts, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl. Stir in almond milk and 1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon agave nectar, then let stand for 10 minutes.
