Cured Lemons

Instructions

Thoroughly wash lemons in hot water, then slice 1/8-inch thick and remove any seeds.

Combine salt and sugar in a bowl.

Layer the bottom of a small glass container with the salt and sugar mixture.

Alternate layers of lemon slices and the salt-sugar mixture until both are used.

Seal the container and cure at room temperature for three days.
