Crockpot Chicken Chow Mein

Instructions

  1. Brown chicken in a skillet with oil, then transfer to a slow cooker.

  2. Add all remaining ingredients except cornstarch and water to the slow cooker, then cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

  3. Increase heat to high, then combine cornstarch and cold water until smooth.

  4. Stir the cornstarch mixture into the slow cooker liquids; cook on high with the cover slightly ajar for 15 to 30 minutes until thickened.

  5. Serve over rice or Chinese noodles.
