Crock Pot Teriyaki Steak

A slow-cooked teriyaki round steak features ginger, soy sauce, and garlic, with cornstarch to thicken the rich sauce.

Instructions

  1. Cut the round steak into serving-size pieces and pound to 1/8 inch thickness.

  2. Combine ginger, brown sugar, sesame oil, soy sauce, wine, and garlic in a bowl to create the sauce.

  3. Place the beef in a slow cooker, pour the prepared sauce over it, and cook on LOW for 6 to 7 hours.

  4. Mix cornstarch with water to form a slurry, then add it to the slow cooker, stirring well. Increase heat to HIGH and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the sauce thickens.

  5. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions, then serve.
