Crock Pot Stuffed Shells With Ground Beef

A hearty slow cooker dish features pasta shells generously filled with a savory mixture of ground beef and mozzarella, then simmered in spaghetti sauce.

Instructions

  1. Start boiling salted water, then cook pasta shells until al dente; drain and set aside.

  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet, then brown ground beef, breaking it apart. Add onion and cook until beef is no longer pink. Stir in garlic for one minute, then drain excess fat.

  3. Remove skillet from heat and thoroughly combine the beef mixture with mozzarella, breadcrumbs, parsley, and egg.

  4. Stuff the prepared meat and cheese mixture into each pasta shell.

  5. Spread half of the spaghetti sauce into the slow cooker insert.

  6. Arrange stuffed shells over the sauce layer.

  7. Top with remaining sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

  8. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.
