Crock Pot Sticky Chicken

Spray a 4- to 6-quart crockpot; place onion, garlic, and orange on the bottom, then top with chicken pieces.

Whisk together honey, soy sauce, and ginger in a small bowl, then pour this mixture over the chicken.

Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours, until the chicken is fork-tender and reaches 170 F (leg/thigh) or 165 F (breast).

Remove chicken to a serving platter and cover with foil to maintain warmth.

Discard the orange from the crockpot. In a small saucepan, whisk cornstarch and chicken stock with the remaining crockpot juices.

Cook over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until the sauce boils and thickens. Season with salt and pepper.

Glaze the chicken with the thickened sauce or serve it alongside.
