Instructions

  1. Combine grits, vegetable broth, cream, milk, cheese, corn, jalapeño pepper, hot sauce, and salt in a slow cooker; stir, cover, and cook on low for 3.5 to 4.5 hours until tender.

  2. Add shrimp to the slow cooker, cover, and cook an additional 4 to 8 minutes until pink and opaque.

  3. Ladle into bowls and serve.
