Crock Pot Ro-Tel Dip With Ground Beef and Cheese

A simple six-ingredient cheese and meat dip, perfect for parties, can be easily prepared in a slow cooker and served with chips or crackers.

Instructions

  1. Start melting 1 1/2 pounds processed cheese product and 1 (10-ounce) can tomatoes with green chiles in a slow cooker on high.

  2. Concurrently, brown 1/4 cup chopped onion and 1 pound ground beef in a skillet, then add 1 (4-ounce) can drained sliced mushrooms and 1 (4-ounce) can chopped mild green chiles, if desired.

  3. Drain excess grease from the meat mixture, then add it to the slow cooker cheese mixture and cook on high for 30 minutes.

  4. Reduce heat to low and serve the dip directly from the slow cooker with tortilla chips or crackers.
