Crock Pot Pulled Pork and Beef Barbecue

A tender pulled pork and beef dish, adaptable with either a homemade or commercial barbecue sauce, served on toasted buns.

Instructions

  1. Trim fat from beef and pork, then cut into cubes and place in a slow cooker.

  2. In a bowl, mix ketchup, 1 cup water, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and optional liquid smoke and hot sauce; pour over the meat.

  3. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 8-9 hours until tender, adding water as needed.

  4. Remove meat, shred with a fork, and return to the slow cooker on low to keep warm.

  5. Serve on split buns.
