Crock Pot Paprika Chicken With Dumplings Recipe

A creamy paprika chicken, prepared in a slow cooker with onion and sour cream, pairs well with noodles or rice.

Instructions

  1. Place onions, seasonings, chicken, and chicken broth into a slow cooker.

  2. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.

  3. Combine sour cream and cornstarch, then stir this mixture into the slow cooker chicken and heat through.

  4. Start boiling a large pot of salted water.

  5. Beat 3 eggs with 1/3 cup water and 2 1/2 cups flour until smooth.

  6. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the boiling water and cook for about 10 minutes, or until the dumplings float.

  7. Serve the cooked dumplings with the chicken.
