Crock Pot Country Beef Stew

Instructions

  1. Cut beef into 1-inch cubes; peel and slice carrots into 1/4- to 1/2-inch rounds; peel and chop onions; peel and cut potatoes into 1-inch cubes; slice celery.

  2. Combine the prepared beef, vegetables, tomatoes, beef stock, tapioca, Worcestershire sauce, and bay leaves in a slow cooker.

  3. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours.

  4. Taste the stew and add allspice, marjoram, thyme, salt, and pepper as needed.

  5. Switch to high heat and stir in frozen peas about 20 minutes before serving.
