Crock-Pot Beef Spanish Rice

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat and brown ground beef for 5 minutes.

  2. Add chopped onion and bell peppers, cooking until the beef is no longer pink.

  3. Drain the cooked beef and vegetables, then transfer to a slow cooker.

  4. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, salt, Worcestershire sauce, rice, and water with the beef mixture.

  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 3.5 hours, until the rice is tender.

  6. If your slow cooker cooks quickly, check rice for doneness after about 5 hours on low or 2 hours on high.
