Crock Pot Beef and Chicken Stew

Instructions

  1. Combine steak sauce, bouillon cubes, salt, pepper, sugar, and hot water in a slow cooker; stir to blend.

  2. Add chicken thighs, beef, onion, potatoes, carrots, and tomatoes, then stir.

  3. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or on high for approximately 5 hours.

  4. About halfway through cooking, remove chicken thighs, chop them, and return the meat to the slow cooker; stir well and continue cooking.

  5. To thicken, prepare a smooth paste with flour and 1/4 cup cold water, then stir this mixture into the stew.

  6. Cover and cook on high for an additional 15 to 20 minutes, or until the stew reaches desired thickness.
