Season the beef brisket with liquid smoke and pantry seasonings, retaining the fat for moisture.

Wrap the seasoned brisket in heavy-duty aluminum foil; refrigerate overnight if desired.

Place the foil-wrapped brisket in a slow cooker, cover, and cook on low for 9 to 12 hours.
