Crock Pot Barbecued Country-Style Pork Ribs

Boneless country-style ribs are slow-cooked in a crock pot with apple juice, barbecue sauce, garlic, and brown sugar until fork-tender.

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease a 5 to 6-quart slow cooker insert with canola oil.

  2. Trim excess fat from ribs and pat dry.

  3. Place sliced onions in the slow cooker bottom, then add ribs.

  4. Season pork with salt, pepper, brown sugar, and minced garlic, turning to coat.

  5. Pour apple juice over the pork.

  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours, or until fork-tender.

  7. Drain and discard liquids from the slow cooker.

  8. Pour barbecue sauce over the pork and stir to distribute.

  9. Cover and cook on LOW for another hour.
