Crock Pot Baked Beans With Bacon and Beef

A flavorful baked bean recipe combines bacon, ground beef, and onion with molasses, pork and beans, kidney beans, and lima beans for a hearty dish.

Instructions

  1. Brown diced bacon in a large skillet, then remove and drain.

  2. Cook ground beef and onion in the same skillet until the beef is no longer pink and onions are translucent.

  3. Transfer the cooked beef and onion to a 3 1/2- to 5-quart slow cooker, draining excess fat; add the browned bacon and all remaining ingredients, then mix well.

  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

  5. Serve hot.
