Crispy Corn Flake Baked Fish and Homemade Tartar Sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F and grease a 13x9-inch baking dish.

  2. Cut large fish fillets into serving-size portions.

  3. Combine melted butter and lemon juice in one bowl, and mix salt, pepper, and dill in another. Place crushed cornflake crumbs in a wide, shallow bowl.

  4. Dip each fish piece in the butter-lemon mixture, then sprinkle with the salt and dill mixture, and finally coat with cornflake crumbs.

  5. Arrange coated fish in the prepared pan and bake for 20 to 30 minutes, or until fish flakes easily.

  6. While the fish bakes, prepare the tartar sauce by combining mayonnaise, chopped pickle or capers, and mustard. Stir and adjust seasonings to taste.

  7. Serve the baked fish with tartar sauce.
