Crescent Roll Pigs in a Blanket
Pigs in a blanket are cheese-stuffed hot dogs encased in crescent roll dough, baked until golden, and optionally topped with egg wash or seeds.

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 F.

Slit each hot dog lengthwise, almost through the middle.

Cut each slice of cheese into 6 narrow strips and insert 3 strips into each hot dog.

Separate crescent dough triangles and wrap each hot dog, stretching the dough to fully cover.

Optionally, brush wrapped hot dogs with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds.

Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 9-12 minutes until golden brown.

Serve warm with desired mustard or dipping sauce.
