Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F and butter a 2-quart baking dish.

  2. In a large bowl, combine thawed peas, diced cooked turkey, and cooked noodles.

  3. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan, then cook onion and mushrooms until tender.

  4. Stir in condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, and seasonings, cooking until well blended and hot.

  5. Pour the hot soup mixture over the turkey and noodle combination and mix thoroughly.

  6. Transfer the entire mixture to the prepared baking dish and top with shredded cheese.

  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the casserole is hot and bubbly.
