Creamy Skillet Chicken and Mushrooms

Instructions

  1. In a large covered skillet, brown the chicken in butter, then remove it and keep warm.

  2. Add mushrooms to the same skillet and sauté until golden brown and tender.

  3. Stir in soup, garlic, thyme, and rosemary.

  4. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, cover, and cook over low heat for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Blend in half and half, then heat slowly.

  6. Taste, adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed, and serve with hot cooked noodles or rice.
