Creamy Pink Tomato Sauce for Gnocchi

Instructions

  1. Start boiling a large pot of salted water for gnocchi or pasta.

  2. While water boils, heat tomato sauce and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat.

  3. When the sauce simmers, reduce heat to low, add cream, and stir continuously until heated through and combined.

  4. Season the sauce with salt and pepper, then remove from heat.

  5. Cook gnocchi or pasta according to package directions, drain, and transfer to the skillet.

  6. Stir to coat the gnocchi or pasta in the sauce, then add Parmigiano-Reggiano and toss evenly.

  7. Garnish with parsley and serve immediately, with additional grated cheese if desired.
